Ok, so it's not the best controller in the world, but it's still £430 of most peoples english money, so for those that can't afford to go out and buy new all the time and want to protect their investments (No Matter How Little / Large) thought i'd share this

on a well known auction site you can do a search for the gator case GP66 which is sold as a pedalboard case for drumkits

it also happens to be an exacting fit for the pioneer Ergo as you can see in the images below, has more padding / protection than most of the other offerings i have seen, and costs just a measly £23, plus postage depending on the seller :-)

That really is a good fit.

I am certain that owners of the ERGO will benefit from this info.
