if you want controler to be small go for djm 700 or if you want to all feature in it go for ddj t1

i never used one of these but i like ddj t1

A DJm 700 is just a mixer and you would have to buy 2 decks to complete your setup which would be more money. If you want to have a complete setup without the advanced features, Then you go for The DDJ T1 deck. The DJM 700 is Midi and the mixer is more advanced but, Its NOT a Midi controller like a DDJ T1. " No Jogs, No Faders, etc.

When I use my djm700 in midi mode it works great but sometime vdj and the 700 do not play nice together and I have to mess with them for 10 minutes to get them to communicate, usually a system restart does the trick.
Anyway I like using the djm700 because it's effects but it's not a good all in one solution since it lack playback controls, although you could add something like a zomo mc-1000, Numark dj2go or a denon dn-hc1000s together with the Djm-700. I think the Djm-t1 would be a better option since it has playback controls and a built in sound card.

he means the DJMT1

the problem you will have is that it's made for traktor scratch, this is bad for two reasons...

Native instruments would never allow pioneer to give atomix one to offer native support so you will have to map it yourself. The other bad part is because it operates under "tsp" it will have to use HID not midi for full functionality, and this will be more difficult to get to work in vdj.

I have only played with one in the shop but the T1 feels like it's made with better quality components than the 700, and has an inbuilt soundcard.

If you only use 2 decks the T1 would be better imo, but before you outlay any cash get onto pioneer and ask if you get full functionality with midi mapping, or if you can have their HID schematic to make it easier to create a definition file.

@ caliente, i already have cdj 400's so i dont need to buy any decks but, i am thinking of getting 2 more in the near future.

thanks all for the feed back

i think im gonna go with the 700 due to the fact its a 4 channel and midi

and i will get incontact with pioneer today.

thanks alot.
