I just Upgrade to VDJ Pro 7 form and older version of VDJ. Before I start the program up my system CPU is at 12% and when I start the program it jumps to 80% then to 100% when a song is added and starts to play. The song then will fade in and out as it scrolls across the MP3 deck. The system is running windows XP with a Maya 44 Soundcard and has the required system per VDJ. The older version run great and the upgrade runs on my laptop. Any ideas??? Thanks DJThawk

Is it a legitimate version of Pro downloaded from this site?
If not, bad code may be the reason why.

Are you running the new version with a skin of the correct size?
The skin resolution has to match the resolution of your monitor.

Please register your Pro serial number on the following page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest version from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
Then see the following FAQ page: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Performance%20Issues.html
As above, the issue is most likely caused by resizing or maximising the skin. Once registered, you can download a custom skin that exactly matches your screen size from http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/skins.html
