Topic: Link VDJ with DJM 600

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey a quick question- I have a DJM 600 and I have Virtual DJ pro on my computer. I have sold my older CDJ's. I like Virtual DJ pro and what it can do. I was going to get a DDJ T1 and map to my computer. A suggestion was to get a DJ IO sound card and link my computer with the DJM 600. Good idea or not???
Will the hot que's work that have been preset on the computer?
What do you think. I also like what the DDJ T1 can do....dot I do like my old and trusted DJM 600.

Please register your Pro serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest version from the Download Center: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

If you have not purchased VirtualDJ Pro then please support the software and its future development by purchasing it: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

The DJM 600 is not a MIDI mixer, so can't directly control the software in any way. It can mix audio only (I.e: Allow you to mix audio from the two decks separately if you use a suitable multi-channel sound card such as Numark DJIO.)

To control the decks and use cue points you will need to use a suitable MIDI controller (Two separate MIDI capable CDJ-style players would be ideal for use with a DJM-600.) Alternatively, you can use an all-in-one controller to control VirtualDJ and mix with it..

Purchasing a controller that is natively supported by the software is strongly recommended: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ%20Controllers.html
