I've been looking at Grooveshark and it seems quite good value for top 40 stuff on the whole. Is this available in the UK as i see on the VDJ site it just states a price as 9.99 in dollars?
Also, what kind of internet connection would be needed to use this and what kind of bandwidth would it use?
I DJ roughly 24hrs a week. Say each hour is filled of 20 songs?

Yes, it's available in the UK.
It doesn't use massive amounts of bandwidth - I've used it with mobile broadband fine in the past.

You can also cache songs to your hard disk so that you don't have to download them again when playing in future. This is strongly recommended.
