Hello guys!
I've been wondering about this in a looong time... everytime i close and start VDJ and set a new song, the sound quality is completely different, its like it takes the sound filter from the song itself instead of having the same settings all the time. Example if i put one song in the start, the rest would sound just like that particular song, if i close and open up VDJ it will still be like that first song i put.
But if i delete VDJ Database it will forget it and whenever i put new one in, will be the next VDJ will sync from, that means my whole SET will sound like the first one. Some tracks have higher bass, more focus on drums etc. thats the difference it makes.
And its really annoying actually, sometimes my sets sounds too "foggy" other times the quality is good, and sometimes its just loud w/e even though i use the exact 100% same tracks, - Just sounds different each time.
I think that have something to do with my soundcard, because i dont have any controller / dj stuff with in-build soundcard, so my computer would be the primary one - but its still annoying, how can i balance it to be stable? Is there any file i could use in the start of a mix before i start recording my original set? So it takes the quality from that song.
I use VDJ 7.05. And yes all my tracks is bought legally from beatport etc.

Could be a number of things.
First look at your settings on VDJ for your soundcard. Play around with that
Also look at the gains on VDJ. I set mine on auto. If you mess with the gains all the time, it may be remembering your previous setting.
Have you tried using a different sound card?
What type of PC/Mac are you running and what processor?

Hey, and thanks.
All i use is standard settings, i havent played around with anything, ill try that.
My PC specs:
Intel Core2Duo @E8500
ASUS PQL Pro Motherboard
Corsair XMS 4GB RAM
Corsair 650W PSU
AMD Radeon HD5770
Default motherboard soundcard.
Windows 7 Ultimate.
I dont have any second soundcard, but when i tried previous versions of VDJ it syncs from every last song played, and not like 7.0.5 where it takes the first song you ever put.
My Gain was put as Auto+Remember.. ill try with Auto!

buy good quality sound card
alway's play around with the software get to know it familiarise with the software option tweak it
experiment on it
you got queit good config
first load one song on deck 1 let it load full & then set the gain to 0db &
goto config>option>set auto gain as Auto+remember
then load other track on deck 2 don't do any thing untill it's loaded after that you'll see 2nd deck gain
automatically set to 0db
in Auto+remember it set's gain to 0db & it remember's it forever untill your database is safe
