It allows to highlight the higher part of the curve of the sound, and clone it.
The gate FX makes the sound tighter and reduces the sense of volume.
Push the slider from middle to left : the gate is applied to low and mid frequencies
Push the slider from middle to right : the gate is applied to mid and high frequencies
Overloop Gate option : the sound is recorded while the gate is opened, and when the gate is closed, the recorded sound is output sevelral times.
