Topic: Perhaps I'm being a bit cheeky, but...

... Wouldn't it be nice for a few top name Ibiza DJs to use Virtual DJ to give it a bit more street cred? Yes it would! Well, if this goes well then there could be one Ibiza resident DJ that does... Me.

Only one small obstacle though; I just need to win this competition on mixcloud where the prize is to be given a DJ job for the season at the "Ibiza Rocks" hotel. So I've made my potentially award winning mix (did a rough cut in virtual dj and then put it together in ableton) but before they'll even consider it, it needs to have 100 listens! AND THE COMPETITION CLOSES ON SUNDAY! AHHH!!!

So you guessed it: could I please have your help by clicking through to my mixcloud page and pressing play? You don't even need to have your computer speakers on! Or you could mute the sound for a couple of minutes on your laptop! Or, maybe, just maybe, you could have a listen if it sounds like your sort of thing. :D

For everyone else, it's a mix of some more indie style dance tunes (remixes of Justice, MIA, Florence & The Machine, Adele, Bombay Bicycle Club...) and then moves into a more Electro House sound (Deadmau5, Knife Party, A-Trak) and finishes with a couple of Dubstep tunes, so if that sounds like your kind of thing then you might want to have a listen.
 
Got my click but I couldn't listen to it because my chick was bitching at me to put on my headphones but I couldn't find the damn things LOL

I took a listen. It's different for my tastes but good mixing is good mixing and yours are good.

Thanks for the compliment man, it was really interesting to see how good I could actually make it. I've been DJ'ing for 10 years (5 years with Virtual DJ) so I should really know my stuff by now, but that's not always how it works lol!
