I have a asus g73 laptop and a denon mc 6000. with over 50 gigs on this rig (almost all video) and it has been running flawless. last week i had this rig in my shop and the wireless internet was on and the computer said an update was available for the video driver. stupid me i updated the video driver. saturday did a gig a vj froze three times. all three times i was playing avi or mpg videos (vids in the past have worked perfect) the only saving grace was nobody was at the gig to notice shutting down vj and going to cd backup (no vids on screen) my question to the forum is 1: should i revert to the last version of my video card software and how would i do that
2: is there something i can do moving forward to prevent this
thanks

Didn't your mother tell you to leave well enough alone? Most updates will tell you that if you don't have this or that problem, you may not need the update. Yes, you can revert back to the previous driver. It is probably still on your machine. If not, go to the company site, and get the previous driver.

You could also try a system restore to the previous days date of when you updated your drivers.
