I went to My local dj store and noticed the Yamaha DXR Powered speakers. They Look identical to the Qsc K series speakers but with more watts. They also come in a 15 inch version where the QSC K series doesn't.

Did you demo them? How did they sound compared to qsc?

He played one Yamaha and then he connected the two K12's. The yamaha sounded pretty good and i liked the bass responce. Even though i only heard one, It sounded powerful. One thing you will notice from the Yamaha is the size. Its alittle bigger than the JBL PRX 615M speaker.

yes sir (DJ JAMM) i sold my JBL's and bought a pair of yamaha's DSR115's all i kan say is wow just wow. you wont be disappointed

I just saw the Yamaha's today @ SamAsh and the 15" ver looks great, the guys that work there said it sounds better then the Q's and the new EV's 115P, so I know what I'll be doing this summer, I also read that the RCF's are coming down in Price, it looks like a buyers market is coming our way soon...
