Topic: Records both Decks at same time even with crossfader on one side :/

Hey

im from Germany and i have a problem,

My Virtual Dj is recording both decks...why? Even if i haven´t pitch fader up or crossfader...
I have American Audio VMS2 & VDJ 7

Please help me :)

The VMS2 is a hardware mixer, so you need to record an output from your VMS2 as this is what does the mixing of audio signals, not VDJ.
 
 
Hi guys , I'm new to all this and to vms2, I am having trouble setting the vms2 sound up,
It's working fine except when I play a track in channel one the come out the speakers ( speaker are direct into the vms2)
When I cue deck two to mix it also come out the speakers even when the cadets are down, I have tried all different set ups.
Please helppppp

For PC users the sound setup should be ..
Inputs None
Outputs.. Ext mixer
Sound card VMS or ASIO and American Audio VMS next to that

Make sure you have installed the ASIO drivers from AA Website

For MAc Users
Inputs None
Outputs Ext mixer
Sound card 4 out and next to that choose The AA VMS

Note for MAc users. Goto Audio Midi Setup (Applications-->Utilities) , select the VMS , chose Configure and set the speakers to Quadrophonic

Connect speakers to the master output of the device and headphones to the front socket

Thanks for that, done exactly that, but still the same problem
Playing track in left deck,
Cross fader full across
Cue deck two
Fader two all the way down
But plays out of main speaker at the same time as deck one


Frustrated".........
 
 
Hi PC
Now we have
Left channel playing on deck 1
Cross fader across to deck one
Deck two playing on pc vital
Deck two channel fader all the way up
Swap the cross fader to deck two and have the record from deck one playing out speakers still

I'am having the same problem.
 
 
Im having problems the mapping of the crossfader and the sound. I just got this thing over the weekend and just reaaly need help with seting it up.
