Hi guys,

just upgraded my old laptop (dell xps16) to a new dell xps 15 L502.

In the config settings under the video tab, Its not showing thr video card. There is an option for Intel HD graphics output, but shouldn't my nVidia card be showing in there too? All latest drivers are installed.

Gary

You'll need to go into your nVidia control panel, and under manage 3D settings (I think) tell it to run VDJ on the nVidia card.

Cheers Scott, that sorted it.

Hour into the night and the video has gone off. All the plug ins and firetext still working but on a black background with no video.

Any ideas?

I've fixed mine. DOwnload the registry tool. Set the videomaxmem figure to a lower number. I've got mine at 128 and it works fine now.

I download the registry tool. Set the videomaxmem figure to a lower number, my problem is that even though my graphics card is 3 gig only 58 shows up in "videomaxmem", if i unclick hardware accelleration in the vdj tab it displays the intel hd card instead of the GeForce gt 555m
help !!

Ignore the 3 gig.

Leave hardware acceleration enabled.

Set videomemmaxuse to 16 and retest.

If your computer has dual video card, and one of them is an nvidia, rightclick on the VirtualDJ icon on your desktop and choose to use the nvidia card.
