I just bought a vestax pmc 05 pro 2 mixer and i also need a sound card.is this sound card worth using?

not really, they are a pretty average card anyway, but if you want to use timecode vinyl which I assume if you bought the ex-ultimate scratch mixer.. you will need to get a soundcard with at least 4 mono inputs and 4 mono outputs... you can't go wrong with native instruments soundcards, look for the audio 4, 6, 8 or 10, or the herc djtrim comes with a le version of vdj that will give you a discount on upgrading. if you are using the mixer with just your keyboard of a controller like the reoop contour the djio will be okay but you are much better off getting an audio 2.
I should mention you need vdj pro full, or pro basic to be able to route your output through an external soundcard into the mixer.

i might just go with the audio 4 i owned one once and it worked fine with my mixtrack.
