Can I use Pioneer CDJ 100 as Virtual DJ controllers? And what is needed to do it?

Currently I have a mixtrack pro, can I use that as my mixer?

Thanks!

Not too familiar with the model of the CDJs but you should be able to use them with a USB audio sound card, like the MAYA 44 as an example. This will allow you to connect both CDJs up and run VDJ with time code. You wont be able to use the MTP as the mixer though. You'll need a separate mixer or a different MIDI controller that allows you to plug in external sources like cd players or turntables without the use of external sound cards.

You need the Professional Full version and a ASIO compatible DJ soundcard with 2x stereo input for the players.
Also you need to burn 2 Timecode CDs with the Timecode signal from our Website.

As they are no MIDI controllers you are limited in it's features - typical for Timecode usage.

Thanks for the info everyone. Well might need to upgrade to pro first. Might use that as my backup anyway.

Cheers!
