Topic: rmx stopped working

Last night was using a fogger, when my rmx stopped getting a signal.Had to shut down and reboot,luckily it was the beginning of the night.So I unplugged the fogger,the rmx was in the same power,plugged the fogger into a different plug and all was well.Courius if anyone eles had this problem,or what might have caused it.

It's a "golden rule" not to plug sound and lights or other effects on the same group. You might just have found out why.... :p
Your lights and effects (like the fogger) can cause disturbances in your powersupply. The same goes for kitchen-equipment (like refrigurators). So it's for the best to find yourself a clean powersupply and separate your sound from other equipment.
BTW: A surge-protector can also be helpfull to keep your powersupply clean.
 
Thanks man...had to post this in the general topics forum to get a response.But yours seems to be the most logical.I am in your debt.
