Hi im running vdj7 on mac osx with the ddj s1 ive change the name in the audio setup but vdj still dosent seem to find my controller in the mappings plz help

Most likely you are running an out-of-date version of the software that doesn't have native support for the DDJ-S1.
Please register your Pro serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download and install the latest version from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

That version is out-of-date.
You need to be using the latest v7.0.5b

im running 7.0.5 and its still not working(mac pro snow leopard) i own vdj pro license i see the mapping for ddj-s1 on the list when i uncheck show only connected devices please help....sound card its working and vdj recognizes it

Your problem is a common MIDI DEVICE ISSUE that is present everywhere in MAC when hardware is not commonly supported by MAC OSX. As a MAC user i have been encountered this issues many times in every hardware that i plug into my MAC (like SCANNER, CAMERA, MEDIA PLAYER, SYNTHESIZER, CONTROLLERS, SOUNDCARD ETC.) specially if it is not manufactured for MAC.
