you can use Tex ZK's loop roll instead, it is lacking the 3/4 and 2/3 roll size, but it has reverse for a bit of variety. I'll put up a basic mapper and a working definition file with leds in a couple of days, but you are definately better off making the mac dual boot and using windows for vdj.

Really? Why is that?
I've used VDJ on my MAC for over a year now with no issue.

just for the plugins, i'm sure vdj is fine on osx, but there are definately more extras on the windows version at present.

also what effects do you get natively with the mac version?
 
I'm working on improving that situation :-)

LED's would be cool... as of right now, my MIDI FIGHTER just lights up when I hit a button.
Midi mapping is still new to me, but figuring this thing out is helping me learn.

theres a bug in one of the commands i wanted to use to change deck focus, i'm not going to upload until it's fixed which needs to be updated to work from atomix's end, but pm me your email and i'll send you one that changes with the pfl selection, it's not as good doing it that way imo...

but i did figure out how to make looproll make any size you want within 8 beats, cant believe i never tried it before... just disable the quantise button ;-)

there is unfortunately no lfo filter as ther isnt one ported to mac.. so i replaced it with flanjet which sounds pretty good, it has cut (gate) an automated noisebell (sweep) and i think echodoppler (freeze), but if i left that out i'll put it in
 
 
It's only available on the PC at present.
