Topic: Automix - Shuffling. Why?

When I set the sidelist to "automix" mode, it seems to be playing songs in a random order. I can't tell if its on shuffle mode OR if there is a problem with the software? I see there is an option for "shuffle" but I cannot tell if it is engaged or not. There is no check mark if front of it regardless if you click it or not.

I put my songs in a particular order in the sidelist. I want them to play in that order when automix is engaged. It has always worked. I don't know what changed.

HELP!

Everytime you click on shuffle, it shuffles the playlist...
So no check mark like for repeat or so.
You should take a look at the playlist every time you press shuffle ;)

I just tried it and it all works perfect here.
 
I think I understand... The automix should always play songs from the top of list right? Unless... you have your cursor placed on a song lower in the list right?

No, I also tried that and no matter what song is highlighted, it should always start with the song on top...
 
It does. But it will play them in the same order that you have from the folder where you dragged your songs from. They can be alphabetical ordered by title, artist or on date.
If you drag the songs individual from the folders into the playlist, it will keep the order from the first file you put there till the last one.
In my case, the songs are mostly in alphabetical order, so I shuffle them on purpose.
 
I've been saying "side list" I meant the shuffling problem is in the far right column. It's not playing songs from the top down. It's choosing random songs out of the list and loading them to be played. What I "expect" to play next is NOT what is getting loaded.
 
I just tried something and noticed this:
When you drag songs into the playlist you should always drop them at the bottom, cause if you drop them at the top or in the middle, the songs get all messed up, so maybe that's what you are saying
 
Hmmm. I did notice when I dragged more songs to the top, the automix decided it wanted to shuffle play the songs..
