I just got VDJ Pro and the Denon MC6000. After some initial frustration, everything seems to be working correctly except the VU meters on the MC6000 are not working.
I'm sure I just have a setting wrong, but I can't seem to find out what it is and I hate to do too much tinkering because I'm a complete novice when it comes to mapping.
I'm hoping that someone has an easy fix. Here's what my setting are:
On the back of the Denon
Mixing Mode - PCMix
Source output Ch 1/4
The switch on top is set to Master and I have both Audio and Video selected in CF Mode.
VDJ Config
Inputs - Line ins
Output - Headphones Master Chan 1&2 Headphone Chan 3&4
Denon DJ ASIO Driver.

You can set the mapper back to factory settings in config>mappers in case anything in there has been changed by mistake. There's a small icon with a disc at the bottom of the mapping list.
For the VU meters, mapping should be as follows:
VU_METER_LEFT deck left get level
VU_METER_RIGHT dec right get level

Thanks for the reply. I tried that, it didn't work. I checked the mappers and they read what you said they should. Seems like a strange problem. I still think I have a setting wrong somewhere.

Reinstall VDJ latest version from this site, and update the MC6000 to the latest firmware from the Denon site.

I updated the denon firmware last night and I just installed VDJ Pro last night. Do you think I should reinstall VDJ Pro?

Worth a try. Reset the mapping back to factory settings first. Either the mapping has gone out of sync or the unit is faulty.

OK, with the selection switch in position ch1/4 line 1 has a VU meter reading on the left and line 4 has VU meter reading on the right. And now I'm getting master volume readings. Thanks Keith!
