Hello Everyone, Im hoping someone here can help me with a situtation im having. About 3-4 months ago i purchased the numark mixdeck. When I plugged it in i realized that the mixer on the numark mixdeck wasnt configurating with virtual dj (For example if i moved my crossfader on my mixdeck it would not move on virtualdj). It has caused alot of problems as far as recording goes. When I realized what it was I got on here and posted a forum to see if I could fix it, The answer was to buy a recorder and output it from the mixdeck. Well I just got off a good friend of mine that also owns the numark mixdeck and he says his is working with virtualdj. If he moves his crossfader on his mixdeck, it also moves it on his virtualdj program. He says it has something to do with mapping. Is there anyone here that can maybe guide me threw that? It would help alot.

Well unfortunately, your friend is either not using the Mixdeck or is not being truthful. The mixer portion of the Mixdeck is analogue and cannot be mapped as a MIDI device. This is a hardware design and can not be changed.

Im trying to connect my numark mixdeck to virtual dj and im absolutely sure that all the settings are correct in VDJ sound options and am sure that the mixdeck has both decks set to midi controller. when i switch them to midi slight backlighting occurs on the decks however i get no response with the software with any buttons but i do get sound if i mix on my laptop. Ive been trying to fix this problem for months both contacting vdj and numark however i have found no usefull information. Ive redownloaded drivers, vdj pro several times, usb drivers, check for updates daily but nothing seams to work please help. I thought upgrading to pro would fix the issue but it seems i just wasted a near 300 $ on this program. Ive found prior service terrible so please help me before i just through my laptop and mixdeck out my window.
