I was surprised to find that the pro version upgrade is quite expensive for my dj2go.Is there any way of getting it cheaper?

buy a more expensive controller like a mixtrack pro, rmx or vms4.1 then you get $150 off, but $30 off for a $50 device is a pretty sweet deal

No, what you see is what you get...
I don't know if your LE version gives you a discount but these are the "normal" prizes:
If you choose Electronic Delivery, you are entitled to a 10% discount.
Price: $329 (264.05 €)
Discount: - $30 (24.08 €)
Total: $299 (239.97 €)
Choose Postal Delivery to receive a physical box.
(you will still be able to download any new version instantly from this website)
no discount for this one
Price: $329 (264.05 €)
It also depends on which controller you have, my 4-mx for instance gave me about 100$ discount, but my mp3 e2 I purchased earlier gave no discount at all. I think the more your controller costs, the more discount you will get. But I'm not sure...
Keep in mind that you paid for the controller and that they gave you an LE version to get started right away...
