My specs I have an Asus tower running vista, 2.33 quad core processor, 6gb ram, geforce gt430 with 1 gB ddr3.ram. I am using. A dvi to video (yellow RCA) adapter to hook up to the yellow RCA video on a TV. I have it all connected and have the video card set in multiple display mode, and a messed up looking signal appears on the TV, even if I try to mirror my screens the image is really messed up. I tried changing the resolution settings and refresh rates on the video card and it doesn't help. Has anybody used an dvi to yellow video adapter and gotten it to work on a LCD screen.. is there any settings I'm missing. Thanks jon

Just use the "EXTEND THIS DISPLAY" option in your display settings and it will work.

I had the same issue - I switch to using a "scan converter" to manage the video output instead of trying to get my laptop settings changed (no need to worry about scan rates and refresh anymore).
