So I run primarily music videos now, but when I load up an mp4 or an mpeg video the video is really jumpy and not on time.
The only way I've figured around this is to convert the files to .avi and they play fine, except that I have over 5,000 music videos and that is going to take forever. I'm running a baseline 13" mbp, so it's nothing fancy, but this happens no matter what kind of video input i'm plugging into, whether it's a projector or into a TV composite.
Any help would be great!!!
Thanks!

Guess the problem is the Mac videocard.
As far as i know, there is from VDJ point of view, no way to solve this problem.
Maybe one of the next VDJ version, can deal with this kind of lower videocards.

I messed with some of the video options, something to do with the khz, i'm not going to open the program right now to check my settings, but i believe it's fixed.

Go to performances in Setup and change the 48khz conversion to "Fast Sampling"
Also check "Decode while Hidden" in the Video options.

Uncheck the hardware accelerator in the video tab in config, that seems to have done the trick for me

Disable Hardware Acceleration. Worked for me. It is very annoying that lag.

None of these worked. I am running a dell computer with a vizio tv but nothing will fix the lag on the external screen. When i uncheck the hardware acceleration, the video disappears on the tv. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
