Topic: need of some new toys

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Ok lets hear advice about what new toys to buy.. I got all the dj gear i ever need... Im selling out the old and buying all the new. Im looking for a mix pad or massive sampler , who has what and whats the down fall of that product.. djing is to easy , I need some more stuff to add to the pile..

If I were you I would wait for the new native instruments X? to drop, that thing will be like having 16x7 pads in terms of mapping as it will make 7 different colors with the combination of RGB leds, It is a small form factor and has extra knobs and sliders for anything you wish also from the video it looks like the page is scrollable so actually larger than 16 pads, if not it can always be mapped that way.

The one problem however is NI won't give one to atomix to support natively so you will be relying on user support, If I have a job by then I will certainly give it a crack...

I have an icon istage, which is good quality, however I have had some dificulties getting all the leds to work
 
 
Wow, I like that...what is the expected street price for this MPC unit.?
 
Im looking for something more then this I want monstor toys... 100 samples and 10020303 effects..
 
There's a whole bunch of new Behringer 'module' controllers coming soon (announced at NAMM)....

A 4 channel mixer style one, a jog wheel 'deck' one, another with drum pads, one with Ableton Live clip buttons...
