I am looking to get one of the Akai controllers maybe the APC20 or MPD18. I would describe myself as a recreational DJ and I am looking for something I can integrate easily in to VDJ and use as a sampler/effects/beat pad. What would be best? I am trying not to spend too much money on this...

I've got the APC20. And struggling to get the LEDS to light up.
