Iim a big fan of my hercules RMX.Is there any way you can put a better crossfader into the mixer??OR should i just buy a better mixer? Any info would be great help.

just get a better controller, vms 4 is in around the same price bracket but you can stick an innofader in there, if you can get one on the cheap second hand it would be worth it, however if you buy it new, you are looking at $400ish for the controller and $150ish for the crossfader, for that you could just get a better controller...

You can't replace the rmx fader with anything. I broke the X fader on my RXM before, and it was nearly impossible to even put in another one. Soldering and all kinds of other mess is required. Taking apart the unit is an undertaking in itself, and I was never able to get it back together with all the screws in place correctly. I ended up selling the unit and buying another one. Still use if for weddings and what not, but if your wanting a better mixer just save up and buy one =)

ya that's a good idea but i think the vms2 would be a better buy.the rmx is so much smaller then the vms2.ill give ebay a try.
