I don't know if there is a simply solution to this? Or.. I'm just missing something. All I want to do is this.
I want to listen to a song on deck b and when I get to a good part, put it into a loop and then "pause" the song at the start of the loop so that it's ready to be mixed. When deck a gets to the point where I want to start mixing deck b, I want to hit play and have the loop start.
Why can't I create a loop, and then pause it at the start of the loop?

just remap your cue button to
loop ? reloop & pause : cue_stop
loop ? reloop & pause : cue_stop
