Topic: Software To Fix MP3 Songs

I play dancehall,reggae,hip hop and r&b.A few of my older reggae and r&b songs are too low or too high.Is there a software out there that can fix this.Thank for the help.

Do you know of another one.Try that one before, it never work too well or maybe i was doing something wrong.
 

It will only work for MP3 files, so if you use other formats, it won't work for these.

Also, you may need to adjust the level it gains them to (The default should be OK in most cases.)

VirtualDJ's own internal automatic gain should also do a good job in most cases, and you can always adjust it if necessary (Saved for the next time you play it, providing that you have not disabled this in CONFIG -> Options.) NOTE: Some songs are naturally meant to be louder or quieter than others, e.g: Club dance track vs slow pop song.
 

 

The simplest way is to just record them again - properly.

Or you could use free audio editing software (e.g Audacity) to adjust the level - if that's what you mean by "too low or too high".
 

MP3Gain works GREAT. Maybe you were doing something wrong. I'd definitely give it another go. (There's something similar for WAV's too, I believe).
