Topic: numark mixtrack pro with VDJ 6 - Sound setup

Hi guys. I have been using VDJ 6 (full) with my Behringer BCD3000 for a while now, and I am thinking of now getting the numark mixtrack pro. From what I read, with the mixtrack pro I need an external soundcard as well in order to preview with my headphones. Cant just connect it to the laptop and change the VDJ sound config to include headphones as I did with the BCD? I dont really want to buy the mixtrack pro if i need an external soundcard to preview. I am obviously playing through an external amp and speakers, not pc speakers

First of all the Mixtrack Pro will not work with VDJ version 6. Please register your serial and download the latest Pro Full release from this site if you wish to use that controller with Pro. Alternatively you can use the LE version supplied by Numark. Please see here:

MixTrack Pro has its own build in sound card for master output and headphones.

The cheaper MixTrack (Non-Pro) model does not have a built-in sound card.
