Hey Guys,
Quick question hear regarding beat matching and the "rhythm window."
When I mix, I rely mostly on the waverforms to beat match. I was playing two tracks and noticed the following:
Track A had beats (or peaks) that were aligned with the CBG's (blocks on the bottom of the waveform). On the other hand, Track B had beats that were not aligned with the CBG's. I managed to sync the tracks, but it as the tracks progressed, they tended to go out of sync, even though they were at equal BPM's. My question is, is this something normal that just happens, is it something that can be adjusted in the software, or can it be hardware related?
Just for reference, here's my setup:
(2) Pioneer CDJ 200's
(1) Maya 44USB
(1) Behringer DJX700
Windows 7
Virtual DJ 7
