Topic: VIRTUAL DJ YEAR.

Honestly i think this will be the year,when Virtual DJ take the number one position for DJ software.I own three dj software,VIRTUAL DJ,
TRAKTOR PRO and M-AUDIO TORQ.For me there are three main things that i look for in a dj software,user friendly,stability and audio quality.
I always think Traktor has the best sound quality but no more.The new M-AUDIO TORQ 2.0 have the best sound quality to me.I am waiting
on the new VIRTUAL 8 with new sound quality and give me a choice between playlist and crate.I know playlist and crate almost the same,
just love to use crate.HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all.

When you say "crate" you mean folders, if it is then we have alot of ways to create them, Vitual folders, Smart folders, Filter folders...you need to read your manual I'm sure you'll be happy if you do....

Virtual DJ is the best... i think you need to wish something else as crates is in VDJ already. Happy new year too...
 
Crates allows access to the crates structure created and utilized by the Serato™ Scratch Live.I am not using a serato box so i dont know if it
work.Let me know how to go about if it can work.Thanks for the help.
 
I pretty sure atomix have it covered by having playlists, virtual folders and filter folders

  • playlists - allow you to create a list in order of what you want to play

  • virtual folders - allow you to arrange your music into folders without changing the original filepath

  • filter folders - are the crown jewell allowing you to create smart lists that you can use code to find all matching tracks, there are heaps of filters you can use and they can all be done in combination to narrow your search, they can even find tracks in a matching bpm or key of the playing track, know them, love them, they will make your job much easier.
