Topic: Create and Play Kareoke files

Hi all
I want to create and play Karaoke files.
I looked a lot for a software that can do it. I read that Virtual DJ support CDG files. But the question is can i create CDG files or any other karaoke format?
If not, can i add this by plug in?
Can you recommend other software for that?
