i have a clean new pc rinning VDJ and FIRETEXT and thats it, in order to get FIRETEXT to work i have to turn on the hardware acceleration, when i do this VDJ starts to drop frames and blur FIRETEXT,
am i missing a CODEC? all videos are MP4 and run smooth without acceleration, even better

I have answered your pm, but in the meantime have you directx9/c++ and the klite codec pack installed.
If this is the free plugin you are running make sure you can use other vdj plugins, if you can't then you need to follow instructions for using plugins for the first time.
