I'm getting some distortion coming out of my left player deck when I have VDJ setup to run w/ my external mixer and Timecode CDs (Settings: Inputs, Timecodes / Outputs, 3 Lines Mixer / Sound Card, U46DJ).
I tried replacing each cable between the mixer to the soundcard one at a time in an attempt to isolate the distortion, but the distortion continued, so it's not the cables. I switched the channels from the mixer to the soundcard and the distortion continued from the left deck player, so it's not the soundcard. I switched the cables in the mixer channels and the distortion follows my left deck again, regardless of cable, so it's not the mixer either.
Any ideas what might be causing my left deck to play with distortion? Something in the settings?

Try to change the setting of your soundcard in the "advance config" then click + sign to add, select on the drop down menus for inputs & outputs like: deck 1=outputs 1&2 deck 2=ouputs 1&2, main=outputs 3&4 then, try your inputs: linein or timecodes =1&2. Just try to tweak there. Check your grounding/earthing and try to switch your line & phono sometime if it is not right it will give you some distortion. Also better post the list of your equipment (e.g. brands, model, type, os flatform windows/mac etc.) so that user with the same setup like yours will help you exactly what is the problem.
