So I have all my playlists mapped to all my music on a laptop I have. The laptop is dying and I want to move to another one.
The problem I have is that on the new laptop, the playlists do not match to the locations to the music files. My old laptop was Windows XP and the new one is Windows 7.
Is there any way around this issue so I do not have to go locate each song one by one?
Thanks

if you get pro, you will have access to jeremk's new playlist fixer program, and it will automatically fix the location of your tracks in your playlists.

Thanks and for the files that do not get detected with this program, how do I edit the file path to the correct location in Virtual DJ?

you need to open the m3u playlist files with notepad or similar, then you will see the filepath of the song in your playlist, that you can edit, to match the new location of your files

Thanks. I tried listFix() too. Works well.

Notepad++ works well for batch renaming - free software and very fast.
