Topic: Lowered Volume With Effects Engaged

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I'm noticing that when certain effects are engaged, the volume will slightly lower on the track until the effect is disengaged.....Sound familiar to

anyone????.....no other issues...playbk is smooth, waveform running smooth, offline lappy....Thanks forum!!

Which effect(s) are u using when you encounter this?
 
echo, echo doppler, bit crusher are the ones that I have noticed so far......It's sounding like a hardware spec issue to me, but I have NEVER had any

performance issues with my laptop. 2Gb dual core, 4GB RAM and everything stripped down for audio reproduction. Latency Monitor- perfect,

etc....I'm clueless to the problem......
