Hello everyone,
I hope that you are enjoying your 11/11/11. I have been DJing on and off for about a year now but starting in 2012 I was going to try to hire myself out as an occasional DJ for small parties in my area and all across my school campus.
Before I did this, I wanted to get about 10 working playlists of all genres.
Although it will be all too easy to get together 3-4 pop dance lists (obviously around 120-130bpm), I was wondering if anyone could give me a list to either their playlists or some lists on the community boards for other genres (including house, hip-hop, reggae, classic rock, easy listening, etc.)
I was hoping to make my playlists be about 3 hours minimum, so if anyone has any ideas where to start (so that I can pick and choose songs), let
me know!
Thanks
enjoy your 11/11/11 wishes!

Use Google!
There are countless places where you can get song lists for different genres.
Download sites, fan sites, radio station sites, CD retail sites.....
When I started out (before home computers and the web) you'd have had to go to a store and look at albums, or buy a book.
Now you can just tap your keyboard and find stuff in seconds.
