Hi

Just installed latest patch v1.05 and still get problems loading a file which is longer than around 30 mins. It starts to play but when I want to skip forward in the trach it just hangs.

Any advice - Im using a Pentium 4 system with 768 Mb RAM (which I know should be more than enough to load file into memory)?

Have you tried changing the "Max Load" setting?
 
just to see if I had the same problem, I tried loading tracks that are 4-5 hours long and tried it with virtual DJ. They worked! the files are about 130mb and encoded a low bit rate though.
 
Confirmed, tracks that are 64kbps at 22Khz in excess of 5 hours play on VDJ with only minor freezes when fast forwarding. What did you have trouble with?
