Topic: Using Just Headphones and External Speakers

I want to be able to just use headphones and speakers mixing through my laptop. I just bought a 3.5mm splitter with Stereo Male to Dual Mono Females. Good thing is that I got the audio working for the speakers and headphones. Problem is that the subwoofer doesn't work when using this splitter. The audio from Preferences is set up already and believe should be good. Am I using the wrong splitter?

I am using Virtual DJ 7 Pro.
