Topic: Hercules Deejay Trim 4&6 underwater noise & skipping

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey,

So i bought the Hercules Deejay Trim 4&6 a little while back and still can't seem to get it working correctly.

Set up:
VDJ 7.0.5
w/Hercules Deejay Trim 4&6(fully updated drivers)
Stanton C314
DJM-700
EFX-500(usually not connected when playing with VDJ, only set up for live performances without VDJ)
On a Mac

With the original BPM it sounds pretty much perfect. Yet, when I lower the Bpm's on a track it tends to garggle(underwater noise) or when I raise the Bpms' it sounds almost scratchy. Also, it tends to skip randomly, exit out of a loop suddenly, and overall just doesn't sound clear. Now I talked to VDJ and Hercules and they said Mac's don't have an ASIO tab, so i went into utilities and played around with the Audio/Midi device....Still bad sound quality. I'm wondering if this is a soundcard defect or what?

Thanks for the help!!!!!!!!!
