Topic: Macbook Air i5 2011 with Virtual DJ

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi Guys

I am just been messing about with the free version of Virtual DJ and I have to say I am hooked, its an amazing bit of software and naturally I now want the full experience.

I have a few questions I hope you guys can answer for me.

I have the latest macbook air i5 4gb 2011 edition, is this going to be fast enough to actually preform live with Virtual DJ and hardware?

Also I want to buy the hardware decks to connect to my laptop, any suggestions of what will be best, I have a budget of up to £500

Does the free home edition of Virtual DJ let you crossfade the bass and treble separately? or is this just with the pro edition?

Thanks guys

Guess you can answer your question by yourself ;-)
Because you have the computer and you can try it with our Home Free version.

You can use most of the available hardware outthere, together with the Home Free, up on each start for 10min!
So go to a shop and try the hardware you like.

But when you want to use additional hardware and you like to controll VDJ not only by mouse or keyboard, you have to go Pro Full.
