Topic: Any info on these.........

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

For you cats that hit up the DJ shows around the world, have any of you heard or seen the DN MC-3000 or the DN SC3900?? From what I've seen the 3900 looks like the 3700's. Would be badass to have another deck with spinning platters. The MC-3000 looks like its only 2 channels ...........

Any info would be great

I know nothing and could only find this:

Please share you links and photo's

This all I got,

I guess the 3900's are basically like the 3700 without a cd drive, but this is all hear say.

That two channel thing, the 3000, is a strange thing to bring out, why would anyone want this in place of the 6000?

Those pics were leaked from the UK - The 3000 will be very similar to the 6000 But the 3700s are gonna be bad ass - inside sources say. Ill leave it at that

As far as who wants the 3000 - I def prefer a 2 channel at least the pitch sliders are in a more user friendly position. I have never used all four channels. But, the good thing about the 6000 is I run 2 laptops at my gigs (running backup). its only plugged in through its audio jack and I run SPOTIFY on it. So having that third channel does come in handy in that respect.

Given that it's got an SC prefix rather than an S or HS, I don't have much in the way of hope, for my own needs.

What I was wishing for was an update to the HS5500, combining the best elements of it with the larger platter of the S3700 and the screen size & network capability of the Pioneer CDJ-2000.

Internal SATA hard drive, S3700 size motorised platter, two layers & outputs, large colour screen, LAN connection.

Never mind, I will struggle on with my HS5500s for another year (at least)...

Those HS5500 were great, it's a shame they opted to stop supporting them. I guess they didn't want to take away sales from the 3700s

it would be nice to get the 3700s working correctly, if that happened it would exclusively change VDJ, Im seroiusly trying to get the 3700s on point and some very busy people are helping. If this can be achived with the new jog resoution. look out serato. the denon platter is nice.

Either way VDJ has Serato beat to start off cause the lights work.........and from reading their forums it doesnt seem like there's any plans on sending MIDI out anytime soon.

The sc3900 looks the same as the 3700 but without cd, whats the point in that.

That CD's are becoming obsolete ???
I hope it has a USB port though to connect a USB Stick for emergency situations...

PS: Judging by the fact that it has a display it IS possible that it will be able to play media from a flash drive. If there was no screen then it would be 100% a "pure" controller.
