Hello, firstly i am new to the world of CDJ i used to dj with turntables many years ago and then stopped due to work commitments. I am now wanting to start it up again this time with either CDJ's or MIDI controllers.

I am having trouble in understanding it all and how it would work. I have a budget of around £500 i had 2 options in mind:

Option 1:
2 Numark NDX 400
Numark M3 Mixer
Traktor, Cue, etc
From here i am stuck i have seen that i will need some type of soundcard and timecoded cds thing is im not sure on what i will need to hook it all up to some kind of software etc (remember i am new to all this.)

Option 2:
2 Dennon DN-SC 2000
Some kind of mixer?
Traktor, Cue, etc
What else would i need? I know that you dont have to have a mixer but thats what im used to.

Any help or other options would be great.

Many Thanks,
Charlie.

My suggestion would be a Numark Mixdeck, unless you feel you really need spinning platters. In your price point very much the best of both worlds - USB MIDI connection and CDJs with a mixer all built into a tidy cabinet.

I would get a Used Numark NS6 for 800 bucks
