Topic: American Audio VSM4.1 vs. Versadeck

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have read alot about the the VSM4 having some problems but has anyone heard anything about the new 4.1? I was all set to buy the Versadeck untill I saw the 4.1 getting ready to come out. Has anyone had any experiance with the Versadeck? I know it's also pretty new as well. I see alot of talk about the new Numark NS7 but thats all fine if you like Serato but what about if you dont want to get rid of your Virtural DJ program? What is the best controller right now for Virtural DJ? Thanks for any input

the ns6 is natively supported in the current version. I would save you money, both of the American Audio decks are cheap and will only need replacing after a short time, a ns6 should last at least twice as long therefore making it better value in the long run... the ns7 is a different animal all together and should only be used if you are wanting to primarily mix hip hop and scratch, or are used to vinyl and can't let moving platters go..

I got to play with an NS6 this weekend and the NS6 feels a lot nicer but you would expect that from just looking at the price difference.
