I've newly purchased a USB 5.1 Stereo Sound Card Adaptor in order to preview tracks but i can't figure out how to configure my settings to allow me to do this. Anyone able to help?

Do it this way, just use the primary card as master and your new card as headphones, it should work fine...

Sorry i should have been more specific, is there any way to have the music come out of the laptop speakers but be able to preview tracks on the headphones? I also have a 3.5mm Speaker and headphone Splitter if that helps?
