Hello guys. I'm a newcomer here in VDJ.
I can't wait to have a license here so I'm starting to save money and work myself on it.
I like it very much coz it is very its very entertaining: it serves as an outlet for me
at the same time it stimulates my imagination and creativity.
I have learned a lot while playing VDJ with my Numark Mixtrack.
and then I learned about this VDJ script/mapping.
Because of that I just want to ask if you guys know what scripts/maps are applicable in my Numark Mixtrack?
and I got some queries here hoping you guys can shed me a light on.
1. Say in a song I got 5 hotcues and my Numark Mixtrack got 3 hotcue buttons.
my question is, How can I activate hotcue 4 & 5 when there are only 3 hotcue buttons? (except using the keyboard shortcut)
2. I want to activate 2 effects at a time. Say i activated Flanger effect in a song and then I want to activate Echo effect also.
But when I tweaked the Effect->Select knob in my Mixtrack, the Flanger effect stopped. I want the Flanger effect to be continuous
while selecting Echo effect using the Effect->Select knob without stopping the Flanger effect. Is that possible?
and I realized that I can "push down" the Effect->Select knob. How can it be useful and what's its purpose?
And lastly, about loops. coz I find it very inconvenient to juggle loops using the Mixtrack buttons so tendency is I also use the keyboard shortcuts.
my question is, is there are way to simplify the activation/juggling of loops? Is there a script/map to activate loops using a knob/slider?
