I am having poor sound quality issue. I am using VDJ Pro with Denon MC-6000. my experience has been Poor bass and song sound quality (like my speakers were blown, but they're not because I have two sets and they both sound blown on VDJ with 6000, but great with Serato Scratch Live SL1 on a Denon HC4500) and my EV wireless mic also has poor sound quality. I am wondering if it is my VDJ settings or the actual MC-6000 unit? Anyone have this issue?

Have a look first here and check your settings:

Denon mixers are powerful. If my case is the same as yours when I first got my DN-X1600, the solution I did was lessen the volume on VDJ (about 75% or 3 o'clock), lessen the volume on the Denon, and then increased the volume on my main mixer.
Goodluck!

Sounds like a poor gain staging. Lower the master volume on VDJ and then check the trim or gain on your mixer. Always allow some headroom on your software and mixer! Best wishes!

The problem is with VDJ's sound algorithms, even on high quality, it's pretty bad (almost sounds like MW radio on some tracks?)... easiest way to verify: play the same track in serato or traktor (you can download demos)...
It's a shame because the algorithms they use for BPM and Key detection far surpasses any DJ software out there, they way it handles tempo drift is amazing!!!

Except you can't do that because you can't play it through the MC6000 in SSL so it's not the same test.
FWIW RTA tests have confirmed that the output from VDJ is near identical to that of Traktor.
I think the problem in this case however is that the Denon is locked to 48KHz. VDJ is locked to 44.1KHz so it has to be resampled.

Are all your cables alright? MY USB cable was a bad one with my MC-6000, and I thought the unit itself was bad. It worked a charm after getting a new USB cable.

Hello,
I've been having the same problem for a while, poor sound, mainly low bass, my sub's doesn't punch anymore.
I was wondering if you manage to resolve this issue and how.
Thanks a lot
