This guy is fearless, watch him.
Hes dancing around clapping his hands and having a great time.

Pretty wild PR stunt though, only in Miami.

Now I known he is using VDJ Pro to Broadcast his sound,and so the music don't skip,bounce.

id have a go, heights dont really bother me. though is it was windy id be a little bit phased with the cradle swinging too much.
 
OK, now to get all nerdy ;-)

What's the point? He was so far from (what looked a small) crowd that they wouldn't know if it was live or just a CD being played in the bar!!!

Plus how could they have heard anything with the TWO helicopters buzzing around???

In fact not sure if the DJ could have heard himself mix, he was quite close to that copter...

Oh what it is to be pessemistic once in a while ;-)

You all missed it!

Rick (Atomix) is briefly showing the teaser of one of the options coming up in VDJ 8! You see Scott is fine tuning a super duper plugin that once you activate it a helicopter comes swopping down and picks your ass up along with the DJ booth for affect!! I believe if they just add the Blue Man Group to dance on top of the booth then that would be an awesome touch!! LOL!!
 
This would be one hell of a grand entry at a beach party.
The copter swoops in, drops the booth right on the beach and away we go.

I would try this in a second if the opportunity came up.
 
Althought quite fascinating to look at... it is pointless.

Oh... here I go again... lol

Copter swoops down, sand blown everywhere party, goers pee'd off. Great start!!!

Or copter drops the booth at low tide so the sand is wet and life is good

otherwise the glass is always half empty rather than half full....
 
I think the Helicopter lifting up the DJ booth was hot. Its wasn't to play music loud enough for a crowd etc. It was just a spontanious experience where it would be visbile for many to see a DJ being lifted in the Air. To get ahead of the game, you need to be creative. I bet that guy is getting alot of calls for bookings.
 
I have lots of questions I would like to know how much they payed the pilot. what happens if either one of them ( Pilot & DJ ) have to piss if they dont have to at the same time thats gonna stop the show twice right there. And How do you run power to everything. Just Curious
 
I'll say it again, lol, guys it's an animation.... a damn good one though.

Look at the deck of the boat he takes off from and the figure's around the dj booth, even the copter...
