Topic: Finding old posts.

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Had a little tour of Europe and back in the land down under.
Dusted of my RMX and have a gig tomorrow night so I thought I'd get a little brush up on the old girl.
(yep still no NS6 yet)
Anyways, my config isn't outputting any sound, I remembered posting in here the combination that worked for me and did search for old posts of mine (Search: kroww) -
Came up witha bunch of old posts of mine but not the one I wanted.

Is there a way I can get a complete listing of all my threads/posts on the forums..?

btw, its: pc laptop - rmx - amp.
Tried alot of combos and no sound... hrmm.. how rusty am I, only been 6 months... gah!

Cheers.

Sorry, scratch previous post.
Figured it out..

Needed to set default from pc soundcard to Herc ...

hey kroww good to see your back mate, if you want to see all your posts just google "kroww vdj" then choose "more results from vdj" or search this "site:virtualdj.com kroww" It restricts the search to this website.

thats good to know, i often have to spend ages trying to find old posts.

As always, you're a wealth of information Synth.
Thanks for that, will come in handy again soon no doubt.

Bit of a funny story about being out of practice, last night at the show, got everything set up, mixing desk, comp, RMX herc, x2 Yamaha MSR 400's, did a sound check... all good.
Popped out for a quick pre-set ciggy and grab a drink on the way back to the stage.
Give them the signal to kill the in-house music.
Lights, people turn, drop a track..... nothing.... f*ck!!..... panic...... silence...... check everything..... more panic....

Speakers on: check, Cannon plugs: check, mixing channel: check, computer volume, check..... ARGHHHhhhh.. it worked a minute ago....!!!
Just about to get them to put the in-house music back on when I saw the rmx cross fader was on the opposite deck.

I hardly touch the cross fader (except for the odd bit of hip-hop) - obviously bumped it across at some point.

3 minutes of silence can be deafening.

Eventually got it all up and thumping, although had the shakes like a damn newb for the first couple of tracks... GaHh!

Rusty much? check !
