Topic: Numark Mixdeck mixing questions.

I am a noob. Learning all the time. I just bought a numark mixdeck. Could someone please point me to a faq on how to mix 2 songs together using the mixdeck? I may be doing something wrong. This is what I am going. I play the first song on the right deck with the crossfader all the way to the right. I have my second song on the left deck cued up and ready to go. I press play, but I don't hear that track to prelisten even with the gain is up. What am I doing wrong?
